Rooted in the rich tradition of violin making in Reghin, Romania, LUTHIER POP is dedicated to the craftsmanship of fine string instruments, guided by the experience, skill and vision of its founder and master luthier, Dumitru Pop.

At the heart of the workshop, Dumitru Pop brings together traditional craftsmanship, a deep understanding of tonewood and a personal commitment to every instrument. From selecting wood sourced from Romania's Carpathian Mountains and Transylvania to the meticulous work of shaping and finishing, his knowledge and judgment guide the instrument-making process at every stage.
